Brisa Group challenges young people to reinvent driving education
The “Reinvent the Code” video challenge, open until October 27, offers five driver’s licenses to the most imaginative proposals.
Brisa will offer driver’s license training to the five young people who submit the best video proposals on how they would reinvent driving education. The “Reinvent the Code” (Reinventa o Código) challenge, which runs until October 27, is part of the “At the Wheel” (Ao Volante) project, the 16+ segment of the Brisa Group’s educational program on road safety.
The contest challenges young people who are about to get their driver’s license to reflect on and share ideas about how to make driving education more efficient, practical, and focused on conscious driving, safety, and respecting the rules.
Candidates must create an original video of up to 60 seconds showcasing their ideas and send it via private message to the Instagram account @brisaautoestradas.pt. Young people aged between 17 and a half and 22 years old, residing in mainland Portugal, are eligible to participate.
In the end, five winners will be chosen based on creativity, relevance/applicability of the idea, presentation, and clarity of the message. Each winner will receive the necessary training to obtain a Category B driver’s license. The prize includes enrollment, administrative fees, unlimited access to theory classes, 32 practical driving lessons, and guidance up until taking the theoretical and practical exams required to obtain the license.
To be accepted, after sending their video, candidates must follow the Brisa Autoestradas Instagram profile and comment on the main post of the challenge, tagging five friends. Submissions that use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to generate the content, either totally or partially, will not be accepted.
“Ao Volante", which is integrated into the Brisa Group’s educational program, accompanies young people during a phase of greater autonomy and responsibility, seeking to raise awareness and prepare future drivers for safer and more conscious mobility.
