Brisa enters into exclusive negotiations with VINCI Autoroutes, Eiffage, SFTRF and ATMB for the contemplated sale of 100% of Axxès
Brisa – Autoestradas de Portugal enters into exclusive negotiations with VINCI Autoroutes (together with its subsidiaries ASF and ESCOTA, Eiffage group through its subsidiaries APRR and AREA, Société Française du Tunnel Routier du Fréjus and Société Concessionaire Française pour la Construction et l’Exploitation du Tunnel Routier sous le Mont Blanc, for the sale of 100% of the share capital and voting rights of Axxès, a leading provider of electronic tolling services for trucks, buses and other utility vehicles in Europe.
This contemplated transaction would significantly strengthen the Group’s international footprint and service capabilities in the heavy goods vehicle segment, positioning its Via Verde brand as one of the largest EETS (European Electronic Toll Service) providers in Europe.
Axxès would bring to the Group a modern tolling and fleet management platform, strong innovation capabilities and a diversified client base served through both direct channels and commercial partners. The contemplated transaction would consolidate Via Verde's position as a key player in the European electronic tolling market and reinforces its active role in decarbonizing mobility.
Founded in 2005, Axxès operates in 14 European countries including France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Denmark, Hungary, Sweden, Liechtenstein, Spain and Portugal, either directly or through interoperability arrangements.
Based in Lyon, with 125 employees, Axxès offers, in addition to toll collection services for heavy vehicles (its core business), a comprehensive range of mobility management solutions.

It would be a major step in Via Verde's growth and development strategy, bringing in a company with a strong European presence and a service portfolio that complements the existing Via Verde's offer."
Following the completion of the transaction, Axxès would continue to operate under its own brand, management and regulatory framework, while also strengthening the international portfolio of Brisa Group, which already includes two operating companies in The Netherlands.
The contemplated transaction remains subject to consultation with the relevant employee representative bodies of Axxès, as well as to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.
