Via Verde is one of the most emblematic companies of the Brisa Group, increasingly asserting itself, through its growth, as a global reference in the sector.
It is available in all existing electronic toll collection systems in Portugal, with an integrated network of more than 3,000 km.
It also offers other complementary services, such as off-street parking (covered parks), electronic payment at Galp gas stations, McDonalds restaurants, Atlantic Ferries, access control to historic areas and even Farmadrive pharmacies.
Mobility ecosystem
Via Verde is increasingly a flexible service with advantages in various business areas.
Originated from automatic toll collection, avoiding vehicle stops, Via Verde today offers simple and comfortable mobility solutions.
Reinforcing its commitment to mobility, in 2020, Via Verde increased the offer of parking solutions to more than 200 closed parks and, in street parking, the Via Verde Estacionar App was present in 30 municipalities at the end of the year, covering more than 139 000 parking spaces.
In addition to its automatic payment collection aspect, Via Verde also shows its application in controlling access to parks and/or private companies that do not require payment, boosting its positioning.
Reinforced digital presence
The commitment to digitizing Via Verde resulted in strong customer adherence to the online channel, which recorded 67% of new subscriptions in 2020.
And, to materialize the challenge of changing its business model to a logic of providing services, Via Verde Verde continued to promote membership based on the subscription model, rather than the purchase of a tag model.
Last year, more than 80% of new subscriptions took place via subscription.
